The EX is a heavy-duty ride on floor scrubber made for big open areas such as gymnasiums, field houses and warehouses. An operator can clean up to 255,000 square feet per charge making them very productive. A 46-gallon solution and 49-gallon recovery tank capacity reduce the number of drain and fills and increases efficiency. With deck sizes from 29” – 37”, both disk and cylindrical, operators can clean larger areas in less time and with a cylindrical deck, it reduces the need to pre-sweep saving even more time.
When using a battery floor scrubber in such large spaces, it must be durable and dependable. The Tomcat EX ride-on floor scrubber is both. Made in the USA with a welded steel chassis 3/16” thick, the EX will last for years. The machine includes a flip up steel rear bumper, poly rollers and optional protective side doors made of steel with additional poly rollers to better protect the scrub deck. A stainless-steel squeegee with Linatex blades dries the floor completely behind the operator and has a break away feature should it hit something. The wastewater is drawn up from the squeegee, into a drain saver basket to catch large debris, protect the recovery tank, sinks, and floor drains from clogs. The vacuum motor is protected with our patented vac box system, that will arrest and divert water before it can enter the vacuum motor.
Service and maintenance on the EX are simplified with the patented service cabinet, yellow highlighted touch, and maintenance points. The tip back tanks allow the operator and service personnel to access additional maintenance and service areas while standing. The forward seating position and front wheel drive-steer permits greater manoeuvrability and line of sight for the scrubber operator.
A floor scrubber equipped with a cylindrical scrub deck is an ideal choice for environments that are extremely dirty and have small debris that would otherwise require pre-sweeping of the floor before scrubbing.
